吴忠兴,男,福建邵武人。博士,教授,生态学专业博士研究生导师,重庆市生态学学术技术带头人后备人选。2006年毕业于中国科学院水生生物研究所,获环境科学博士学位,同年留所工作;2010年引入西南大学生命科学院,任特聘教授,2012年破格晋升为生态学专业教授。主要从事水生生态及浮游植物生理生态方面工作,先后在《Harmful Algae》、《Journal of Phycology》、《Environmental Pollution》等国内外杂志发表论文50余篇,其中SCI论文30余篇,参编专著2部。
